MichBio is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to the advancement of the life sciences industry in the State of Michigan. The MichBio Wwebsite contains a comprehensive database of information on life science companies in Michigan and a a list of events of potential interest.
Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) (Click HERE for the MEDC Home Page)
The MEDC is the State of Michigan's business development arm. The MEDC promotes economic development state-wide through initiatives such as the Technology Tri-Corridor (TTC) to finance business growth in the life sciences, advanced automotive technologies and homeland security (Click HERE for more information on the TTC) and SmartZones, a program developed to facilitate collaborations between industry, universities, research organizations and government (Click HERE for more information on SmartZones).
Michigan Universities Commercialization Initiative (MUCI) (Click HERE for the MUCI Home Page)
MUCI was established to enhance the technology transfer functions at Michigan academic and research instititions. Information contained in the MUCI website includes information on the MUCI Challenge Fund, designed to help early-stage technologies developed at MUCI member institutions with seed funding, and business incubation services offered through the MUCI Incubator Liaison.

AUTM is the preeminent trade organization for academic technology transfer professionals. The AUTM website provides information on the technology transfer process in general, as well as samples of policies and procedures consistent among technology transfer offices and their parent istitutions.
