Technology Commercialization is pleased to promote and facilitate academic-industry research partnerships and  assist in the pursuit funding for these partnerships. Examples of funding opportunities for collaborative research include:

• The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program
• Small Business Technology Transfer  (STTR) Program

A variety of NIH programs which have traditionally supported academic investigator proposals now also encourage and support interdisciplinary applications and those with industry collaborators.
